In the heart the Niagara Wine country, Calamus Estate Winery resides on the Falls vineyard adjacent to the Balls Falls Conservation Park, a sight of heavy weekend traffic by both locals and tourists. Calamus is surrounded by established and respected Wineries that attract a steady clientele. 3 km NW is Vineland Estates. The nearby town of Jordan is the home of Cave Springs Winery, and On the 20 Restaurant and Inn. Featherstone Estate Winery, Ridgepoint Winery and the newly opened Flat Rock Cellars all operate within a 3 km distance.

In addition the 20 acre ravine that backs onto the winery parking lot is a beautiful spot for short walks, picnics and outdoor functions. Adjacent to the property is the Bruce Trail, to attract hiking devotees.

To get to Calamus Estate Winery from the Hamilton/Toronto direction use the following:

• take QEW south towards Niagara Falls
• exit south (away from the lake) onto #24 Victoria Rd
• you pass through the town of Vineland and continue up the escarpment to Sixth Ave
• turn left onto Sixth Ave, and go through Ball's Falls Heritage Village
• then turn right at the stop sign
• immediately look for the Winery located below the white observatory dome perched on top of the 1800's era barns

To get to Calamus Estate Winery from the Niagara/Buffalo direction use the following:

• take QEW north towards Hamilton/Toronto
• exit south (away from the lake) onto #24 Victoria Rd
• you pass through the town of Vineland and continue up the escarpment to Sixth Ave
• turn left onto Sixth Ave, and go through Ball's Falls Heritage Village
• then turn right at the stop sign
• immediately look for the Winery located below the white observatory dome perched on top of the 1800's era barns
